Customer Reviews

Comments: Whether it is the vomero, the pegasus or the lunarglide, they all begin to get compression set as soon as 150 mi. I run about 30 mi/wk and weigh 205, ave pace 8:00. I have given up on Nike, they are spongy, marshmellowy bottoming out soft junk. I switched to Brooks and have been getting at least 350 mi. out of ea pair.

Comments: I'm 5'11, 190 lbs. heavy heel striker. Bought these shoes for the cushioning, they do not disappoint. The Vomero 8s appear light and cheap--looks are deceiving--they have handled trail, and pavement extremely well. My only knock, this shoe is definitely geared toward the mid to forefoot striker(s)--odd considering the heel-to-toe. Make sure you rotate with other shoes, I do and it works well.

Comments: It's only a few days old, but a wonderful experience, actually feels like walking on clouds!!

Comments: The Nike Zoom Vomero +8s are not your average nike running shoe. They are MUCH better. My pair held up incredibly well (unlike some other Nikes) and lasted me an incredibly long time. I am a high school athlete and I ran in these shoes ALL summer for a total of 800 miles. No shoe I have ever worn before has lasted 800 miles!! Not only did the cushion hold up for so long but the shoe itself didn't fall apart or anything. I am not a heavy person, only 130 pounds, but I ran just about everyday all summer which put these shoes through a lot. If you are going to get this pair I recommend the Volt/Blue/White color because even when it gets dirty it still looks clean when your running because it is so bright.
