feedback for Saucony Grid Fastwitch 3 Men's Shoes W/Grn:
Comments: I trained for and ran my first marathon in these. They held up great and were super comfortable, no blisters or hot spots anywhere. For a lightweight shoe, they had just enough support. I did, however, put in a better insole for added cushion.

Comments: These are very lightweight, flexible and comfortable. I train in them all the time, but I get 100-150 miles max from them before the outsole under the forefoot is completely gone. And I'm 146 lbs! The wear is really a major problem on these. The Asics Speedstar 3 is more of a lightweight trainer, but the outsole doesn't wear at all. (Editor's note: The Fastwitch 3 is not meant to be an everyday trainer. It's a performance shoe that is made to be light, for races, tempo runs, etc.)

Comments: A comfortable long distance racing flat. I like using this shoe for half marathon races and long tempo runs. The extra cushioning is worth the ounce or two of added weight over a 5k road when you're running the longer races.

Comments: OH, THE FASTWITCH!!!! Well, first I want to say that the shoe is very light, very stable and extremely breathable. But, my first run in these babies was a 10 miler on asphalt and concrete... I did my run faster than usual and the shoe performed very nice. However, the durability is terrible!! After the first run, the outsole showed signs of severe abrasion on the forefoot of both shoes. I know that this is a racing flat and is not supposed to be very durable, but I train in flats all the time and I get some 500 miles on them before having to change shoes. My advice is to use this shoe for racing only and for heel strikers... not for forefoot strikers like me. The Fastwitch is a good shoe, but the durability needs to be increased.
