Get down to earth with the Saucony ProGrid Guide 5. This popular support shoe is the predecessor to the Saucony ProGrid Guide 6 and has moved from the traditional 12mm heel-to-toe drop to an 8mm heel-to-toe drop, bringing your heel closer to the ground and encouraging a more natural forward foot strike. On top of that the Guide 5 is nearly identical in weight to the Saucony ProGrid Guide 6. With greater flexibility, lighter weight, moderate support and increased cushioning throughout, the Saucony ProGrid Guide 5 is an outstanding value.

Customer Reviews

Comments:  Awesome shoe; great intermediate step to low heeled shoes; light and soft with low heel/toe; springy; tongue is longer in this pair which is an improvement as first pair of Guide 5s (royal blue) had s short tongue that would slip down; not so with the orange pair.  First pair got approximately 450 miles. Very pleased and convert from Nike Structure Triax (13-15).

Comments: Great shoe.  Very comfortable and stable on long and tempo runs.  If I had to do it again though I would go a half size up.  The tow box was bit snug for my liking.  I am overall very pleased with this shoe.
