Customer Reviews

Comments: I usually run in Asics Kayano and Saucony Hurricanes. For trail runs I wore the Salomon Wings. I loved the Wings 1 and 2 but never bonded with the 3. Because of this, I tried a number of other trail shoes that either failed to provide enough stability or enough protection for my toes. Anyone who has kicked a stump or root while running will know what I am talking about. Just when I was ready to give up, I tried this shoe and loved it. It is exactly what I was looking for. I ran 5 miles right out of the box and it was love at first run. I have since done 10 miles in them and I know that they will be perfect for the two 50Ks I have planned before the end of the year. For what it is worth, I use Superfeet inserts in all of my running shoes, these shoes included.

Comments: I bought this shoe, ran 3-4km's, got three blisters, went home, sold them. They fit quite narrow in the mid foot, and i would not recommend these for a person with a wide foot. They even hurt to walk in. there is a lot of structure/seams/ribs in the shoe that cause rubbing. The toe box is big but still managed to give me a blister. For the record, i'd have to go back about 15 years to remember a time that running shoes gave me a blister, so i was hugely disappointed with this experience. narrow/average width feet only.
