Comments: Can't get better than this! I have two of these and I'm a huge fan of the fabric and design on the Athletic Skirts. On the plus side: well placed pockets hold keys, gels, etc... the athletic short underneath gives plenty of coverage - especially if you are trail running or rock scrambling - fabric is super-silky and light, never chaffes, wicks well, great fit and looks cute. To consider: While extremely comfortable, the "compression" shorts in the athletic skirt don't really compress. If you truly want compression you might want to get a little more aggressive. And although I've only worn the athletic skirt, I've been behind people in the running skirts during windy races - I think they exposed a little more than the runner intended. So if you want to insure your privates stay private, I'd go for the "athletic" rather than the "running skirt" style. Great product - have worn for trail and road races of all distances and love to train in them because of the pockets. From: Amanda, Golden, CO, USA
