Customer Reviews

Comments: I bought this shoe as a lightweight hiking shoe after doing exhaustive reviews of other regular hiking shoes and trail runners. I wear Asics running shoes for walking and have always loved them. The Scout is a FANTASTIC shoe! Hugs the foot, protects the feet from rocks and trail debris VERY WELL (I used them on one hike that was mostly along a creekbed and my feet were never bothered by any of the rocks), and the traction is fantastic. Haven't gotten them wet yet, but I imagine they dry quickly as they are well-ventilated. (My only recommendation is using a pair of lightweight gaiters to keep the dirt and pebbles out.) The shoes perform flawlessly and exceeded my expectations. Worth every penny.
