Comments: I had loved the Kayano. I had the 14, 15, and 16..... I really liked the 16. Just replaced with the 18. I never had the 17. I am not happy with the 18. It lacks the cushion and stability of the others. My ankles and bottoms of my feet hurt. I have run a number of short runs 3 to 4 miles and two long runs, 10 plus and I am not in love......I am not in like, either. Unless the 19 is a marked improvement, I will be switching models.....

Comments: LOVE this shoe! I was fitted at a specialty running store and this is definitely a great supporting shoe, easy on the knees and joints. I would recommend this to anyone needing a great shoe with awesome support and longevity.

Comments: I am not happy with the 18's. Gave it 3-weeks and that was too long. I will be returning these. I love the 17's...some things don't need improving.

Comments: Stick with the Kayano 17.  The Kayano 18 provides no support in the upper.  They're cut the weight so much that they are no longer stability shoes.  I'm going to stick with 17 until they are no longer available, then I'll move to a different brand.  Asics ruined their flagship shoe!
