INTRODUCTION

The Gel Kinsei 3 is a maximum feature, moderate neutral shoe designed for daily training and high mileage. It is built with a curved shape.

CUSHIONING

Gel Discrete Heel unit is Asics' highest degree of shock absorption unit in the heel and is currently the most advanced component of IGS. The unit in the Kinsei 3 is comprised entirely Asics Gel, which is a large silicone based gel that attenuates shock during impact.
Large Forefoot Gel cushioning system is a silicone based gel that attenuates shock during toe-off.

MIDSOLE

Solyte is Asics' top of the line cushioned and responsive midsole. Solyte is very light for the level of cushioning and durability it delivers.
Guidance Line is a vertical flex groove component of IGS and is primarily articulated in the forefoot to improve gait efficiency.
Propulsion Trusstic is a thermal plastic unit that connects the heel to the forefoot. Immediately before toe off, the unit undergoes tension which stores energy that is then released to accelerate propulsion of the foot.
Impact Guidance System (IGS) is Asics' design philosophy that enhances the foot's natural gait.

UPPER

Heel Clutching System is an exoskeletal structure, which wraps the heel for a secure fit.
Cuprothermo lines the upper and is a metallic film that retains heat in cold weather and releases heat in warm weather.
Biomorphic Fit Upper is a stretch material strategically located in the upper to prevent buckling and reduce the potential for irritation.
Open mesh encompasses the majority of the upper and offers breathability.
Asics logo is located at both the medial and lateral sides of the upper to keep the shoe snug to the foot.
Personal Heel Fit (PHF) is a two layer memory foam lining in the heel collar which creates a personalized fit.
