Customer Reviews

Comments: I LOVE these shoes! Best fit EVER! I've always had to order 1 size bigger because finding wide widths is difficult. I only went 1/2 size up on these (to account for socks & inserts) and the fit couldn't be more perfect. Plenty of wiggle room at toes, but not too much. But, what's most noticeable is that the back--the fit around the ankle--is NOT wide. (All makers I've tried also widen the back, so wide shoes slip.) All this AND motion control with ridiculous cushioning--so much so, that my hip that was replaced 6 weeks ago wasn't affected in the least. Truly hard to believe. Thanks NB for getting it right, and for carrying them -- and at such at a great price. New fan-to both of you-for life. Look out Flo Jo!

Comments: I really like this shoe but the pink lining fades onto my socks. I don't sweat much and have never had that happen before. Also, the tongue slips down a bit even with the laces slipped thru the lace in the shoe's tongue, it doesn't bunch up so it isn't bothersome. I am a neutral runner, train about 15-20 miles a week with cross training for triathlons.

Comments: I have worn Brooks glycerine for 6 years and loved them till recently. I started having shin splints and my arches were hurting. I thought it was a time for a change. I got the 1080 and absolutely love them!!!
