INTRODUCTION

The 890 v3 is a moderate feature, minimum neutral shoe designed for daily training and high mileage.

CUSHIONING

  • ABZORB is a full-length, top-of-the-line midsole foam for great durability and improved cushioning.
MIDSOLE
  • RevLite is an innovative foam compound that provides lightweight, responsive cushioning.
UPPER
  • Open Mesh covers the majority of the upper for lightweight breathability.
  • No-Sew upper materials are soft, supple and hold the foot securely on the platform.
  • Strobel Last with the upper stitched to full length ABZORB foam, for enhanced cushioning and a soft underfoot feel.
OUTSOLE
  • Blown rubber in the forefoot increases cushioning and responsiveness.

LAST

  • PL-1 Natural is a running-specific last with a standard heel and forefoot width and a standard toe-box height. This last is built to closely follow the natural shape of the human foot.

Comments: Love, love these shoes! I have a wider forefoot and higher arches and these shoes fit me perfect. I ran 10 miles in these the first day without any issues, they feel like a sock on my feet with the stretchy material.

Comments: I thought the shoe fit 1/2 size smaller than my usual running shoe just as the site (and a new balance sales rep) suggested. The shoe box is slightly bigger/lower than the last version of this shoe so i found it a much better fit for my wider foot than the V2. Overall, a great update to an already great shoe. LOVE IT!!! A great lightweight everyday shoe.

Comments: This shoe runs narrow in the toe area and on the small size. RunningWarehouse suggests buying a half size smaller because the shoe runs big. I found just the opposite to be true. I ordered a 9.5 as I always do. That's what I wear in most other running shoes, except for Saucony, which run small. These were too short--I could have taken a size 10. Although the toe box itself was wide enough, the pointy shape of the end of the shoe squished my toes. My foot runs narrow as it is. These must be for people who have really, really feet. These are not designed for normal shaped feet.
