INTRODUCTION
The 1064 is a maximum feature, moderate neutral shoe designed for daily training and high mileage. It is built with a semi-curved shape.
CUSHIONING
- N-ergy is located at the heel and forefoot of the shoe. N-ergy is New Balance's most advance shock absorption and cushioning compound to date. It is designed to be responsive, lightweight and flexible.
MIDSOLE
- ABZORB FL is a full-length midsole unit. ABZORB FL is the highest grade midsole from New Balance and is composed of DuPont Engage and isoprene rubber. This midsole offers great durability and a cushioned ride.
- STABILITY WEB is located in the midfoot at the bottom of the midsole. The STABILITY WEB minimizes flex and provides lightweight support.
UPPER
- PHANTOM LINER is located along the inside of the upper. The PHANTOM LINER provides a seamless liner next to the foot to minimize points of irritation and COCONA is used the maximize moisture transfer.
- LockDown Liner is an internal liner that is integrated into the lacing to help secure the midfoot fit.
- Lightning Dry is utilized in the interior of the upper and is a moisture managing fabric.
- Dual Density Collar Foam is loacted in the heel and helps secure the heel in place and provides comfort.
- Ortholite Sockliner is designed for added cushioning.
- ABZORB last is full-length strobel lasted and is intended for enhanced cushioning.
OUTSOLE
- Ndurance is located in the heel and the lateral side of the outsole. Ndurance is a highly durable carbon rubber.
- Blown rubber is located in the forefoot and is used to increase cushioning and responsiveness.
