INTRODUCTION

The 1906 is a maximum feature, moderate neutral shoe designed for daily training and high mileage. It is built with a semi-curved shape.

CUSHIONING

N-ergy spans the full length of the shoe. N-ergy is New Balance's most advance shock absorption and cushioning compound to date. It is designed to be responsive, lightweight and flexible.

MIDSOLE

ABZORB FL is a full-length midsole foam and is the highest grade midsole available from New Balance. ABZORB FL is composed of DuPont Engage and isoprene rubber and is designed to offer great durability and a cushioned ride.
STABILITY WEB is located at the bottom of the midsole at midfoot and is designed to minimiz flex and provide lightweight support. On the 1906, the STABILITY WEB is built in an asymmetrical pattern to aid foot transition.

UPPER

Open mesh spans the entire upper to allow for air to flow through the upper.
BIOCOOL liner encompasses the entire upper and is designed to deliver maxmimum moisture management and is very breathable.
NLOCK is located on the external midfoot of the upper and is provided to help secure the midfoot fit.
LockDown liner is an internal liner that is integrated into the lacing to help secure the midfoot fit.
Dual Density Collar Foam lines the heel collar to provide a comfortable and secure heel fit.
SURE LACE shoe laces are designed to reduce the chance of unwanted lace loosening.
Full Length ABZORB Strobel Board enhances cushioing and comfort.
360 Degree Reflectivity reflects light back in the direction of the source of light.

Ndurance Rubber is a highly durable outsole material and it is located in the heel and lateral forefoot.
