INTRODUCTION

The 905 is a moderate feature, minimum support shoe designed for speedwork, racing and daily training. It is built with a curved shape.

CUSHIONING

• ABZORB is positioned in the heel and forefoot and is New Balance's top of the line foam. It is composed of Dupont Engage and Isoprene rubber for improved cushioning.

MIDSOLE

• ACTEVA LITE is a full length midsole and is New Balance's premium lightweight midsole foam with optimal compression-set properties.
• STABILITY WEB is located in the midfoot at the bottom of the midsole. The STABILITY WEB minimizes flex and provides lightweight support.
• TS2 (transitional support system) is a multi-density medial support that creates a smooth transition from heel to toe-off. It minimizes the amount of movement of the heel and provides optimal support for the heel.

UPPER

• PHANTOM LINER is located along the inside of the upper. The PHANTOM LINER provides a seamless liner next to the foot to minimize points of irritation.
• NLOCK is located on the external medial midfoot of the upper. NLOCK secures the midfoot and deliver a performance fit.
• Lightning Dry is utilized in the interior of the upper and is a moisture managing fabric.
• Dual Density Collar Foam is located in the heel and helps secure the heel in place and provides comfort.
• SURE LACE shoe laces are designed to reduce the chance of unwanted lace loosening.
• Traditional Sockliner
• Construction last: Full-length strobel lasted ABZORB unit for enhances cushioning.

OUTSOLE

• Ndurance is located in the heel and the lateral side of the outsole. Ndurance is a highly durable carbon rubber.
• Blown rubber is located in the forefoot and is used to increase cushioning and responsiveness.
