Customer Reviews

Comments: LOVE the shoe, but HATE the laces. I usually wear a minimal shoe, and I've found these light and comfortable (plenty of room in the toe box). They also have a little support in the arch, which I like, though initially it felt strange since I'd transitioned to minimals. Now I appreciate it. They wear well, and feel great. The laces are horrible though. I've knotted, double knotted, and triple knotted and still had to stop and re-tie. It's surprising since the last 3-4 pairs of NB shoes have had great knobby laces which tied quickly and stay tied. I don't know what they were thinking with these laces, but I suggest you replace them quickly.

Comments: When I got this shoe I loved it because it's so lightweight and comfortable. However, after about 250 miles, the mesh on the sides of the shoe started falling apart. I've never experienced such a fast breakdown with a running shoe - normally I only see rips after 500-600 miles. I was disappointed since New Balance usually puts out a quality product.
