INTRODUCTION

The Zoom Equalon+ 4 is a maximum feature, mild to moderate support shoe designed for daily training and high mileage. It is built with a semi-curved shape.

CUSHIONING

• Zoom Air is located in the heel and forefoot. Zoom air is a low-profile air unit with encapsulated tensile fabric for responsive cushioning.

MIDSOLE

• Cushlon ST is a full-length midsole foam that delivers plush, resilient cushioning.
• Crash pad is located at the bottom, lateral heel. This highly decoupled unit is gender-specific and reduces shock at impact and reduces the degree and rate of pronation.
• Segmented medial post is located medially near the ankle and midfoot. The higher density two-piece foam unit reduces excess pronation.
• Arch bridge is located at the bottom of the midfoot and wraps medially to the rear of the shoe. This thermal plastic unit is gender-specifc and shores up the midfoot and offers support for over-pronation.
• Cuboid pod is located in the lower, lateral side of the midfoot.
• Natural Motion Engineering is a heel-to-toe design which incorporates strategically placed grooves that provide flexibility for a natural, smooth ride.

UPPER

• Open mesh covers large expanses of the upper, providing great breathability.
• Dynamic Support Strap is located in the rearfoot and provides adaptable support to secure the foot in place.
• Molded FitFrame is located on the medial, external heel and provides additional heel support.
• Dual-layer Ortholite sockliner with Fitsole geometry sits underfoot and provides additional cushioning and comfort.
• Phylon Strobel Last completes the upper construction and adds one more layer of cushioning.

OUTSOLE

• BRS 1000 carbon rubber is located along the heel for durability.
• Duralon blown rubber is located in the forefoot under the metatarsal head area for improved cushioning.
• Environmentally Preferred Rubber is located in the forefoot and provides multi-surface traction.
• Waffle outsole design in the forefoot provides multi-surface traction and a touch of cushioning.
