UPPER
  • Open Mesh covers the upper and is a breathable lightweight fabric.
  • Hydrator Collar Lining cups the heel and is designed to provide next-to-skin comfort and maximize wicking.
  • EVA Sockliner offers additional under-foot cushioning.
  • Strobel Last with the upper stitched to full length HRC Strobel Board, for responsive, enhanced cushioning and a soft underfoot feel.

Comments: As a competitive high school XC and track and field athlete (30mpw in the fall, less in the spring racing distances from 400m-5000m, training pace from 6:49/mile - 8:30/mile) this shoe has worked out perfectly for me.  It is light enough for my faster days yet has just enough support for a slight over pronation on my right side.  I have high arches and these shoes have provided me with just the right amount of support.  In comparison to the old mirages, they seem to fit the form of the foot a little better, if you like a snug fit.  They also seem more breathable and able to dry faster.  I would recommend the mirages for anyone wanting a lighter ride with minimal support as long as they have a midfoot strike.
