Comments: Solid shoe, nice styling. Quick, lightweight feel, but certainly enough shoe for long efforts. I'm currently rotating between these and the first gen. Brooks Pureflow. I like the offset lacing, and the tongue stays securely in place, which can't be said for all of my other shoes. My only complaints are the flat laces (personal preference) and the size... Shoefitter said I needed a 10.5 (based on my size 10 Ghosts), and I wish I'd gotten a 10 instead. I'm not swimming in them, but I prefer the shoe a little on the snug side. Otherwise, a good shoe at a great value. 5'10, 150lbs, 65-70 mpw, 6:30-7:00 pace.

Comments: I've had many Asics shoes and these are the best I've run in. Great long distance shoes. Just finished a marathon and they were amazingly comfortable. What a great deal!

Comments: As many runners know, you get attached to a specific shoe and sometimes keep buying it.  I was looking everywhere for my ASICS Sky Speed 2's but I think they were discontinued from ASICS.  I couldn't find any online in my size except Amazon and they were $100.  I came across your site and found them for $54 with free shipping AND got them the next day!  I called customer service with a question and they picked up on the 2nd ring, were really pleasant to deal with and helpful.  You guys got a customer for life, and as an avid runner, I'll be buying shoes every 3-4 months!

Comments: The best speed shoe I ever ever run in, no joke.  Buy them, seriously.

Comments: Shoe feels great. Feels comfortable. Fits a little bit loose on my feet. Having a hard time transitioning from  Asics Speedstar 5 to these. They just aren't as snug as I would like them to be. All in all
still a great shoe.

Comments: These blue sky speed 2 fit into my rotation with Nike Vomero 5.......building mileage base after surgery...20 to 25 mpw...have medium arch ...These dont over control my foot...I find these much easier to have rapid short stride and midfoot striking...varied pace 6min pace short distance to 9 min pace....175 to 180 foot strikes a minute...I prefer these shoes over asics gel excel33 .....these have more lateral stability in forefoot than excel33 and more solid heel counter.......heel counter on excel33 causes problems for me....this is one great deal at running warehouse.....

Comments: A great training flat. Flexible & lightweight. Great for mid-foot strikers. Great tread for the roads. But this shoe is definitely a little narrower than the Asics Cumulus (as Scott mentions below). Also, I found the asymmetrical lacing to be odd and distracting (no other Asics shoes feature this). Bottom line: Fit. Fit. Fit. I think you'll be happy if they fit your foot.
From: Jon, Napa, CA, USA

Comments: I did not like the fit of these shoes at all. The forefoot is too narrow and did not feel comfortable. The whole shoe did not feel like it had enough cushioning for me. I have not had much luck with the fit of asics. Going back to my nike and saucony.

Comments: Great Shoe! Almost the exact same as the Sky Speed 1, but they tweaked the upper to fit better.
From: Chris, Texas

Comments: I loved the Sky Speed 1 for several pairs and now I'm loving the Sky Speed 2. They even improved the lacing and I love the blue colour. What I love most though is that its more designed for a midfoot strike than most trainers, without going completely minimalist - which is hard when you've grown up wearing traditional athletic shoes. The Sky Speed are the best trainers I've ever used and I won't change what isn't broken.
From: Raphael, Toronto, Canada

Comments: Quite simply the best running shoes I have ever owned. The first Sky Speed was terrific, but version two has improved upon it. The asymmetrical lacing is a little less asymmetrical, and it provides a better fit. These are about an ounce heavier than the Speedstar, but I will still favor them over those for the marathon distance.  They a better ride and feel, and they are more breathable as well. If you are looking to mix these in for fast days with a more cushioned shoe for easy days, note that the heavier Asics shoes (Nimbus, Cumulus) are wider and will not have the same fit. I use the Sky Speed every day, some days with a gel insole for added cushion, some with just the paper thin one provided.

Comments: The ride is the same but the upper fits even better. The lateral foot overlays don't irritate the bunionettes
