Comments: In my opinion, this is as close to a perfect shoe as I have ever found for a mild supinator, though I preferred the Speedstar 2's. As was mentioned already, Asics seems to be the only company that doesn't cater entirely to the over-pronators and consistently makes the best toe boxes. This is one of the few shoes that doesn't tear up my toes on marathon and near marathon distances. I'm anticipating the new model.

Comments: I just got a pair yesterday, did a 5 miler last night and I definitely like them. They are light, but still offer adequate support. I actually like the color scheme despite the fact that some people think they are too bold.

Comments: For my supination, there's no better shoe. It's light, responsive and reasonably durable. I try others from time to time, but always come back to this dependable model (the entire Gel-Lyte line, of which the Speedstar traces it's lineage, goes way back). No other running shoe company has been more consistent serving those of us who don't over-pronate. Thanks Asics!

Comments: Great minimalist trainer. As someone who does not need any support or additional cushioning whatsoever, this shoe works perfectly.

Comments: I don't have a lot of miles on my Speedstars yet but I love them. Great lightweight trainers. Used them at a recent marathon and they didn't let me down.

Comments: Great shoe. A lot of cushioning, much more than other lightweight trainers. (I have ran in Nike Skylon, Brooks Ghost, and Pearl Izumi Streak) the shoes feel very light, held up for about 600 miles. the soles never seemed to wear out.

Comments: Great neutral performance trainer. i am running the philadelphia marathon in the speedstars+green superfeet, a really nice combo.

Comments: I've run in the Speedstar for the last 2 years, and I highly recommend this light weight/performance trainer. However, this 3rd model seems to run a little bit bigger (possibily a half size larger than the 2).
