Comments: I have been wearing Asics for several years but this is my
first pair of Speedstar 5. I wore them to run 3 miles today and loved
them. Size is true based on comparison to my other Asics. I love the
lighter weight but still feel that they have cushion. I will see how
they hold up based on how many miles I can wear them. Love the look and
plan to order another pair soon.

Comments: I decided to give these a try after putting 950 miles on my GT-2150s, and never really liking how heavy they felt. They really do fit like a glove, I wore them around the house for a few days which loosened them up a smidge before trying them out on a 7 mile tempo run. They are light and quick. They don't breathe very well, but I think
they'll be good for keeping the snow out of my feet this winter! I'll be buying another pair!

Comments: I've been wearing these shoes for a few years & prefer them for road, trail, tempos, and even just walking around. This year's new upper material is the best yet! They're still just as light, but fit better & the upper material seems much more durable. I also like that they've replaced the material on the bottom that made the shoes really loud with a solid material (AHAR, I think it's called). Very nice shoes for a neutral runner.
