Comments: Couldn't agree more with the runners above. Brooks Addiction 7 was my second shoe (Started with Gel Foundation 8) and it helped immensely with my flat feet. Used 7,8 & 9 and I wish I had stuck to these instead of ordering the 11. The toe box is very narrow and all runs end up being painful. Especially the ball of my feet. The Gel Foundation has too much cushioning when moving from Addiction

Comments: I recently got the new model Addictions by Brooks, I'm very disappointed! I've been using Brooks shoes since I started running but the model update for the Addictions is horrible. I have severe pain on the front of my foot especially the ball of my feet. I've had to stop ( to relieve the pain) and restart. Yesterday I had to walk home after completing half of my run (7 mile run), not what I'm come to expect from Brooks.

Comments: I had very high hopes for the Addiction 11 based on previous versions, but I'm a bit disappointed. The upper is quite comfortable and fits my foot well. Brooks changed the midsole design and added a caterpillar crash pad to soften the ride, but I actually prefer the firmer midsole of the Addiction 8 & 9. They also changed the rubber compound in the outsole, probably to reduce weight and further soften the shoe. The end result is that the shoe wears down faster and isn't as durable as previous versions. The Addiction used to be my favorite shoe, but not so much any more. I'll be more likely go to Asics' Gel Foundation or the Beast instead.
