Comments: I love these shoes and rotate between two pairs and run 30-40 miles a week at 10 min per pace. I have had three pairs now of the Ghost Four after two pairs of the Ghost Three. I ran my first two half marathons in the threes without any problems. I agree that the four is a bit stiffer than the three but after several runs I no longer noticed the difference. I am a solid mid-foot striker and the only complaint is that the fours show greater wear in the tread than prior models with similar miles run in them. I do a lot of treadmill running and have been doing more speed work and generally have gotten faster, so the T-Mill and pushing my personal envelope may be the cause of the increased wear. Ordering a new pair tonight, so we will see. Good Luck with your running!

Comments: Seems they beefed the shoe up some from the Ghost 3 but it is still a good ride. Just feels a little stiffer to me. I think the toe box is pointed up more but doesn't bother me. Tread on the bottom is great and should last a long time.

Comments: Was not pleased with this shoe, the forefoot seemed minimal, with little protection, cushioning compared to other brooks shoes such as the Defyance. Some reason the transition from heel to toe felt awkward, the back of the shoe seems to fit weird on your foot. If I was looking at buying a Brooks neutral training shoe, with a solid responsive ride, and good cushioning look towards the Defyance 3 or 4!!!

Comments: This is a great update to the Ghost 3. I love that they offer them in widths now. The DNA mid-sole is awesome and provides automatically adjustable cushioning that keeps up with your pace. I can really feel the improvement over the old "Hydroflow" gel system in the previous models. The style's a huge improvement from past models and looks more modern, and the tread of the shoe is better quality rubber and seems to last longer, not to mention it has excellent traction. The shoe is made to last and consists of greater quality materials than the Ghost 3, especially the sock liner fabric. I highly recommend these for the neutral runner or someone who wants a shoe with exceptional cushioning in a lightweight package that can handle just about any distance run while keeping you comfortable.

Comments: I have run in all the brooks ghost models since they started mfg them and love the soft but not to soft feel but the 4 has changed. The shoe has a harder rubber tread that will give the shoe a longer life but if you have been running in the older ghost then try these they'll last real long in the closet. Stiffer? Feels more like a stability than a neutral.

Comments: I have been running in brooks ghost for the last couple years and the ghost 4s are definitely worth every penny. they have awesome support and comfort for long runs while still remaining lightweight.

Comments: These are the best pair of Brooks shoes that I have ever owned. They run amazing and look better than anything they have ever produced.
