Comments: Purchased my second pair of Brooks Glycerin's. This time I bought the 9's. Excited to have the shoe again. Mu first pair G; glycerin 8's were terrific. Looking forward to my new 9's. I train for half marathon's and the Glycerin holds up very well. Much better than my New Balance 1080's. (For reference I am 72 inches 206 pounds)

Comments: Purchased my Glycerin primarily because I liked the looks of the shoe. Little did I know that the Glycerin would be as comfortable and cushy as it is. The Trance has nothing on the Glycerin. There is more flex in the Glycerin than the Trance. I am a teacher and my feet thank me every day I wear these Brooks shoes.

Comments: After ~100mi, I can say that the Glycerin 9's are pretty nice. I replaced the stock insoles with Superfeet Blue, which they accommodate seamlessly. Nice, smooth feel -- not squishy like some Nike Lunar models I've tried, but not hard either. You get great cushioning but still retain some road feel. They aren't the lightest shoes out there, but they otherwise don't make themselves noticeable whether you're going short, long, slow or fast. (For reference, I'm 6'1", 175 pounds, mid- to rear-foot strike; low arches but neutral ankles.)
