Comments: I have gone through 3 pair of the original Ravenna and my feet really liked the shoe. One pair of shoes lasted about 450 miles on asphalt. When the new Ravenna 2 came out I thought I would give it a try. The bright turquoise laces and tongue are too short to use the topmost eyelet row. The forefoot toebox is low and narrow and feels cramped. The arch lacing system has elastic connected to the eyelets. I found it hard to achieve a firm feeling fit through my midfoot without stopping to retie the shoes after running a couple of miles. The shoe has good cushioning both fore and aft. I will order a couple pair of the original Ravenna before they are gone.
