Customer feedback

Comments: I had a 17 mile run planned for Sunday morning before church...a route involving mostly pavement with a few miles of uneven grassy field & a mile or so of running on the gravel shoulder of a road.  It was mostly flat with maybe 3 miles that could be considered hilly.  My Brooks' Trance or Infinity would've done a fine job, BUT 3 inches of snow fell overnight & snow was continuing to fall.  I knew my 'real' running shoes would slip a lot in those conditions and my feet would be soaked half-way through the run. Rather than cancel my run, I broke out the Mudrocs.  They felt great the whole way!  I wore a medium thickness smartwool sock & my feet stayed warm & dry despite the 3" of snow & periodic slush.  The upper materials shed the snow very well.  It never caked-on or melted-in.  I was concerned about slipping at a few turns, and was cautious, but I didn't slip at all...unexpected.  The knobby, grippy soles provided good traction.  After a few weeks of daily wear & the 17miler, they still show no signs of wear!  I'm sure if I ran in these on warm dry concrete regularly, they'd wear down more quickly than other running shoes.  But, for off-road, wet, or snow use, they're awesome.
