Keen Venice H2 Men's Sandals Grey/Red Customer feedback

Comments: This seemed too good to be true, but it wasn't. The shoes I wanted, in my size, at the best price
anywhere w/ Free 2-Day UPS shipping!!! I got these yesterday mid day and wore them the rest of the day working, playing in the
yard and walking the dog, they were very comfortable and supportive and fit perfectly.

Comments: I have been looking for the Keen Venice H2 at a sale price and found the sandals at Running Warehouse
via Google -- my first time using this on-line retailer. I wanted Keen Venice sandals for river kayaking, the toe protection is
important on rocks and rough bottom or shore environments, the open design allows water to drain easily away along with problem
stones, gravel and sand. The effective drainage allows the feet to dry better, too. Running Warehouse's offer of FREE shipping (and
no sales tax) closed the deal for me. Everything went as advertised. About this particular sandal: I really had not seen the sandal in
the stores, so I took alot for granted, basing my expectations on friends' Keen Newport sandals which are great. The Venice model
is built with elastic straps from the sole to the laces; and the laces are elastic. I would prefer these components be of a stable
material, like in the Newport model, thereby giving me more confidence that the sandal will stay on the foot if I must swim with
them on, or if they get snagged on something which would tug on it. (The elastic has give to it.) All that said, they fit great, feel
great, look great, the tongue is physically attached to the sides so it stays put, I can't wait to try them out this weekend paddling on
the Chattahoochee River!
