Comments: I wore them for the first time today (2012/02/28) and they are the best fitting running shoes ever. Glove like. Similar to a cycling shoe, and very neutral. My current winter shoe is the Salomon XA Ultra 3D pro and although they are beautifully waterproof; they feel like a mix between running in flippers an a cement block. Over time they did loosen up a
bit. Their grip is also far inferior to the La Sportiva's. So the La Sportiva's grip is awesome (5cm loose snow this morn on hard
pack), fit well, warm enough (-18C today). Unlike the Salomon's however I did feel the ground/snow pack a bit much. More like a sock than a monster truck wheel (Salomon). Can't vouch for their waterproofness, but I'm skeptical they will be as good as the Salomons.

Comments: I purchased this shoe a year ago. The size ran small so had to send it back and get a 1/2 size larger. I was very happy with the free shipping (to-and-back) service. The new shoe fit very well. I had used it in a local park with miles of trails that get wet/muddy when the weather is mild. I love the way the shoe feels, there is good support and traction is phenomenal. The fit is also excellent, it hugs my feet. I like the gaiter system, since often the shoe gets muddy, it is nice that the laces do not get dirty and encrusted in drying mud. My probblem with the shoe is that it is not waterproof, or more specifically, the right shoe leaks water in. I first noticed it around march-april and actually tested the shoe when I washed off the mud. There is a spot where the lining must be compromised. It is not a huge deal but takes away from the value of the shoe. Other than that it is perfect for me. I am actually planning to purchase the non-GTX version for dry(er) weather trail running.

Comments: I bought these shoes recently for winter trail running and snowshoe running. No snow yet but very wet, nasty trail conditions. These shoes are awesom. Grip, Grip, Grip. Traction is really amazing on any surface. They are fairly light weight for a gor-tex trail shoe. They are pretty comfortable and have good under foot protection. Just be aware that the outside booty is NOT where the gor-tex is. The gor-tex is in the shoe itself. The booty is just to keep debris out and it works great due to the sinch tie. All in all, I am very pleased with these shoes. Sizing is tricky though. They do run a little small. Use the shoefitter and you will have no problem.

Comments: I saw these shoes in Outside magazine and when realized my trail shoes would soak my feet, I decided to get the La Sportiva Crossovers. Excellent design, comfort and WATERPROOF. I love the traction. The fit is glove-like. I am considering their non-Gore-tex model. These shoes made me excited about running again.

Comments: Just got a pair of these and went for the first trail run and LOVE THEM! Great stablility on uneven service, great traction, and light weight. Even with longer distances (6mi run) like today they feel like a normal running shoe. Comfortable fit and cant wait to get them dirty to test the GTX sleeve. Just ordered another pair for snowshoeing!! Best Trail Running shoe I've run in in a while and I've tried alot due to the amt of trail running I do. Good Shoe!!
