Comments: I run a mix of trail and roads. I have used my Wildcat GTX's for 5+ mile trail runs and hikes with my dogs. The terrain is quite rocky with alot of off cambers. I have narrow feet and they seem to fit well with ample room in the toe box. I am a big fan of the tread and outsole. It provides good protection when you take a good sized rock to the arch. All this being said, I would not buy another pair of Wildcats or Raptors until La Sportiva does something with the tongue. The tongue has nothing to hold it in place. It's only attachment point is with flimsy material where the laces start in the toebox. The tongue shifts completely to the side within 3 miles. You can delay the inevitable tongue shift if you sinch the laces so tight that your feet go numb. I have called La Sportiva on this and emailed them. They played it off like it was an isolated incident, and didn't even respond to my email. If you google it you will find out that I am not alone. Sorry La Sportiva fans you may have to find another shoe. Fortunately Running Warehouse is great and will help get you in the right shoe. From: Shawn, Yuma, AZ, USA
