Mizuno Wave Inspire 10 Men's Shoes Blk/Yel/Blu Customer feedback

Comments: I've used the Inspire 10 for two weeks so far and am very happy with them. All the earlier comments are true to an extent. The forefoot feels less cushioned but it's likely due to less toe spring than previous models. I run mainly on asphalt and cement, and the cushioning is noticeable once you get used to the feel. I'd say the cushioning is comparable to the Inspires 8 and 9 while there is a bit more stability and structure. The upper is stiffer than previously but it's also roomier. I use a medium weight sock in the Inspire 10 as opposed to lightweight socks in the 8 and 9. I do notice less give in the midfoot upper and need to be careful not to tighten the laces too much. But so far it is not an issue while running. The reduced weight and rounded edges on the outside make for a crisper ride. Time will tell if these will be as durable as the previous models but I have no reason to think they won't. I will continue to use these as my main high mileage shoe and prefer them over my l ast remaining pair of the 9.

Comments: I found the problem with this Inspire to be more in the upper of the shoe. Material has a stiffness as compared to previous models. Unfortunate, as I am a fan of Mizuno.

Comments: My experience is much more positive than the other reviews: this is my favorite shoe in quite a while. As noted, the forefoot is firm: however, I've found it to be very comfortable and responsive. Despite the apparent firmness, I found forefoot cushioning ample, and the shoe is considerably more structured than a racing shoe. For reference, I liked the Inspire 8, and found the fit and degree of control similar.

Comments: Concur with the previous two reviews. Disappointed in the forefoot/ midfoot which, for me, is too firm even compared to the previous Inspire 9 model. Sure it's a considerably lighter shoe, but the sacrifice of the midsole (forefoot) cushioning would Not work for me. Glad I did try these on locally before ordering a pair!!!

Comments: I completely agree with Nick from Philly's review of these shoes. The forefoot is very firm, and lacks adequate cushioning. The previous model had more cushioning. The upper fit is good, and the design and colors look great, but this shoe feels like a perfomance racing shoe with little/no forefoot cushioning, rather than a stability shoe. I really wanted to like this shoe as well.

Comments: I really wanted to like these shoes. The Inspire 10 has a really great upper, fit, and stability, but the midsole is way too firm in the forefoot. The 10 feels much less cushioned compared to the 9. This would have been a great shoe if Mizuno made the stack height 20/30mm instead of 17/30.
