Comments: This is just an "O.K." update. Compared to version 4, the new rubber is less durable and the upper seems too loose. Also, what is going on with the color schemes? Mizuno should seriously consider toning it down a little for the version 6. I'm guessing that most dudes don't prefer sparkly shoe laces (version 4) or powder blue uppers on orange souls (version 5).

Comments: By far my go to running shoe. I do lots of trail and mountain running along with plenty of pavement pounding and this shoe always performs. I get in a minimum of 60 and up to 100 miles a week and the Wave Musha's are on my feet at least 70% of the time. An ideal 9mm heel to toe drop to ease the pounding on my calves during climbs but still light and nimble so I keep my proprioception. Upper doesn't suffocate my feet. Toe box keeps all of my piggies happy, which is why I use them on my long 20+ mile runs. Pronation support is just right. For very loose mountain terrain, I keep them at home but for fire roads and pavement pounding, Wave Musha all the way. If these shoes had a Solomon S-Lab Sense type tread, they would be a gift from the trail shoe gods. Going to stick with the Wave Musha for my next 100 mile mountain race and have all the confidence they will perform without a glitch.

Comments: I'm a tri guy who normally gets in about 25+ miles a week. Usually run in lighter neutral shoes like the Saucony A5 and fast twitch, and recently the Wave Sayonora. I'm gearing up for a marathon and needed a little more protection under foot for my longer runs as the weekly mileage gets up into the 40s and 50s. I like the Kinvara but the exposed EVA gets destroyed too quickly. Gave the Musha a try and loved it. More plush than my normal flats but still light and fast. There are definitely more stability elements in the Musha than in my typical shoes but I don't find it major enough to significantly change my gait or anything. Solid shoe.
