Mizuno Wave Paradox Men's Shoes White/Blue/Red Customer feedback

Comments: I'm been using the Wave Paradox as my "long run shoe" for a few months now. While it is a little less flexible than the Inspire, that is to be expected in a shoe that offers substantial stability, as the Paradox surely does. Overall, I'm very happy with the Paradox, which is far lighter than most other shoes that provide comparable stability and cushioning.

Comments: I run 25-30mi/week. This is an extremely stiff shoe out of the box (at least I think that is the problem). I've never worn Mizuno's so that is probably normal with the plate? Anyway after 25-30 miles they are OK but not great. As mentioned in the other review, I am very concerned about wear. I am around 70 miles, and the sole of each shoe has worn through to the plate in identical spots. I can not recommend this shoe since the Hurricanes and 1260's I also run in are much better for me.

Comments: I have been a long time user of the wave alchemy and decided to give the paradox a try since the wave alchemy is no longer being used. I am less than impressed with the new shoe and how it compares to its predecessor. To start, it does not have the support or control the wave alchemy had. I have very flat feet and an over pronator when I walk, however I strike on the ball/mid of my feet when running. I put approximately 40-50 miles on the paradox and the forefoot wear was horrible. On my last run the sole peeled off the foam cutting my run short. I understand mizuno has changed the crash pad on all their shoes, my opinion is it was a big mistake. I will buy some liquidation wave alchemy's and begin my search for a new brand of shoe.
