Comments: I started out with the Wave Rider 14 about 6 months ago and fell in love. It was a pretty easy shoe to move from heel striking to forefoot striking. I liked it so much that I stuck with it for the Wave Rider 15(which I am currently running in). The Wave Rider 15 is a great shoe, and much like the 14. It's a great neutral shoe and easy to use a forefoot striker such as myself. The pros: lightweight, breathable, comfortable. Cons: not as durable as the WaveRider14, somewhat hard landing. The only thing I would say is wrong with this shoe is that it lacks cushioning in the landing, but it does have a springy landing, which I prefer anyways. Also I found this shoe to be wearing out faster than the WaveRider14's did.Overall rating: 7/10

Comments: I tried this shoe on and it's simply too stiff in the forefoot for my taste. More so than even the 14, which some didn't like but I prefer to this version. The stiffness is frustrating given that it gained weight from the 14. I'd be willing to trade a small amount of weight for a smoother shoe, but the WR15 didn't deliver that for me.

Comments: I agree with Shawn. After wearing out three pairs of the Wave Rider 12's I decided time to upgrade to the 15's. What a disappointment! These shoes feel nothing like the 12's. The 12's were light, flexible, and free. The 15's seem heavier, are very stiff, and my feet feel very constricted. Sending them back!

Comments: Very disappointed in that I found the wave rider 15's very stiff, less flexible and very constricting compared to that of the wave rider 12's. That's right, I fell in love with the wave rider 12 and vowed to only purchase that shoe as long as I could in that I knew I finally found the prefect shoe. I have also heard great things about the 13, but I myself never purchased a pair in that the 12's were the shoe that got me to the finish line of multiple marathons injury free. One thing I've learned about running is that finding the perfect shoe is often times harder than the training itself. Over the last 3 or so years I have been able to find wave rider 12's on ebay and various other places online, but now have found it very difficult to locate them anywhere. I know it's every companies goal to strive and continue to improve their product, but this is a clear cut case of "if it isn't broke don't fix it!" This is a perfect example if tinkering gone bad. And readers should know it isn't just my personal opinion. The Wave Rider 12 received Runners World "Editors Choice" award for being recognized as a shoe that received the highest marks from lab testers. An award that Mizuno has failed to obtain in the wave rider series since. Several other shoe companies have kept a shoe models as is only making the slightest modifications. I can't for the life of me understand why Mizuno hasn't/won't take this approach toward their wave rider series. There was a legion of loyal wave rider fans that were devastated by the disappointment of the wave rider 14. Though there have been some changes made to the wave rider 15, it is still FAR from what the rider series once was. What is lost is that soft fresh out of the box flexibility and comfort that so many people came to appreciate and fell in love with. As an EXTREMELY loyal consumer of the wave rider series I can only hope that Mizuno hears the voice of myself and several other Mizuno fans that are starting to look elsewhere if they aren't given what they want and need in a shoe. I will give mizuno one last chance with the wave rider 16 next year. Fingers are crossed.

Comments: I still miss the comfort of the 13s. This shoe is very stiff. It's just my opinion because I know not every shoe fits everyone the same. If you are looking for the "broken in" comfort of the 13, this is not the shoe.

Comments: The changes for the 15 are a big upgrade over the previous two versions. The ride is plush without being too cushy. I've started pilling on the mileage and they handle it very well.

Comments: Love the changes for the 15s. I had to give up on the 13s after about 50 miles but these shoes are terrific.
