Comments: Fantastic shoe. I bought a pair about a year ago and I still run many miles in them each week - repetitions, easy runs, tempos, intervals, races you name it. They are unbelievably durable for their weight. Also, as a big advocate for minimalist running, I can not recommend them enough. The only downside to them is that the soles are thin so they can't be wisely worn on rocky terrain, but what else would you expect from a super light weight racing flat? Also notable is that this shoe is significantly different from the Nike Zoom Air Streak XC. I didn't like the streak because I felt like there was too much cushioning on the bottom and the stride wasn't very responsive. The mizunos really let me feel and work the ground.

Comments: Great shoe! If you are looking for something ultra minimalist, obviously you can't get any lighter (unless you're going barefoot). Much to my surprise this shoe is very durable. I have started using this shoe in the month of December and even with the snow/sleet it has withstood the elements. All around great shoe!

Comments: Just like all the other reviews..this shoe is phenomenal, extremely light, flexible and fast. great fit and roomy toebox everything we want in a racing flat. the outsole has great traction and is showing wear well. Overall highly recommended!

Comments: I use these and pirhanas sp2 sockless as my daily trainers. A wider toe box (for a flat at least) make this an ideal flat for minimalist trying to get the "barefoot" feel. If you do not midfoot strike the shoe will produce a slight slapping sound as it hits the road, which is actually helps me know when I begin to let my form slide on long runs (I discovered towards the end of a recent race after my form got sloppy speeding down a hill still shaved minutes off my PR). I am hoping the next version will have a lower heel/toe ratio like the pirahana. Regardless, I do like them better than the sp2 although I have not tried the sp3. I think they would work for any mid/long distance track events or road races, but like other commenters, would not recommend these to anyone running trails, gravel, or other non-road/track surfaces. Overall, my favorite flat.

Comments: Very light and fast. Knocked off 15 sec per mile. Running on gravel trail is hard on the soles. Only got 240 miles out of them.

Comments: This is a great minimalist racing / training shoe. Very light and flexible, and has a roomy toebox. I like it as good or better than the Asics Pirahna and Adidas PR. The minimal sole is not conducive to running on gravel.

Comments: I've been doing track workouts in these and liked them so much I decided to use them for races rather than spikes. These shoes are unbelievable. They are the world's lightest racing flats, something like 3.5 ounces each. Putting them on they felt like slippers, it was like I was barefoot... but more comfortable. Nothing I've ever run in even comes close to these babies.

Comments: Fantastic shoe! I bought these as a racing replacement for my Puma H Streets and dropped my PB first time out. If you're converting from Pumas, fit-wise you can order the same size. The Mizunos feel slightly wider and have tons of room in the toe box. Mine are also 100 grams lighter than the Pumas!

Comments: I would recommend these to any runner who wants to go fast. My PR in the 5k was a 16:10 and by the first race I ran in these, I dropped my time by 27 seconds... I ran a 15:43. They are great! Buy them!!!!
