Customer feedback

Comments: After trying on dozens of shoes this year after "my" shoe was discontinued, I have settled on the 1080 v2. I am a forefoot runner, who, at 112lbs, cannot wear a shoe that is too built up in the forefoot as it makes landing a mushy unstable affair. So far, the 1080 has been a good shoe for regular runs. It has a bit too much forefoot cushion for me but the shoe is still reasonably responsive and flexible. I have not used it for speed work yet but am pleased with the performance so far. Looking forward to trying the 880 v2 when it is released.

Comments: These shoes are wonderful for long runs as I need the forefoot cushioning on pavement and roads. I also wear an insert and NB always accommodates them well.

Comments: This is the worst running shoe I have ever used!  I purchased them based on the idea that they are a neutral shoe geared towards larger runners.  At 150 lbs, I'm not huge, but not small either.  I took them out for a short run to see how they were.  After 1 mile, my feet started hurting, after 2 miles, I started to get a blister on the ball of my foot.  At 3 miles, I quit for the sake of my feet.  I have used various high end Asics and Brooks without an issue.  I tried these with some reservations, and I should not have.  Running warehouse rocks, but these shoes, not so much. For the cost, they should have been great.  If you are going to spend this kind of money, go with the Asics Nimbus or Brooks Glycerin.  Your feet will thank
