Comments: I made the switch from motion control shoes with custom orthotics (flat feet) to Nike FREE 3.0 V3. I had major shin splints w/my old shoes, so I thought, what do I have to lose if I give these a try? I was hesitant at first, and thought for sure they'd at most be lounge/walking shoes for me, but it turns out my shin splints disappeared after running in the Nike Frees. Didn't take long to adjust to them either. So far, I've run as far as 8 miles in total comfort. I'm even running faster. I know, it sounds too good to be true! These shoes are amazing. I immediately purchased a second pair.

Comments: Love these shoes! Needed to switch to a minimalist pair of shoes due to an injury and these were perfect. My only criticism is that they run a little small. I would order a 1/2 size larger.

Comments: Mileage: training for a marathon. I bought these before Running Warehouse stocked these online otherwise I would have for sure bought them here. Love these shoes! The previous versions of these were too narrow, and shallow in the toe box. These are snug but not tight. It's really nice to run and not have your shoes be a distraction. Cushioning is very good if you are comfortable doing long runs in something like the kinvara. I was surprised that they have more support than I was expecting, but definitely not as much as the Free Run 2. If you are looking for a minimalist shoe that is softer than the Minimus and with less support than the Free Run 2, then this might be a good option.
