Comments: I absolutely hated the Nike Pegasus. It was way to stiff, not good heel to toe and i thought it was very heavy.

Comments: This was my first pair of Pegasus. I typically run solely in Asics but my local store recommended this shoe due to the changes/updates. I gave them a try. They have been great. At first they felt a bit bulky (compared to most Asics) but they are great on my long runs. I have had them now for 5 months, running 3-4 days per week. The heel strike to toe off feels flawless. I must say I was more than surprised with how well this shoe has held up. I did not get a single blister or hot spot. I likely will buy two additional pairs soon. Who would-a-thunk Nike could pull out a shoe to make an Asics lover blush.

Comments: I have worn Nikes for 30 years including the very first air shoe. I have been a fan of the Pegasus overall, but there have been some poor models including the 2005 and 2007 models. I tried the Vomero 3 and it was too cushy and too unstable even on the road. I wanted a no frills solid shoe and this is the one! Light weight, snug fit (would recommend wide version for average or wider feet), nice cushion not too firm and not to soft, appears to have old school Nike sole which should make it more durable and the shoe provides a good transition from foot down to toe off. The only question is, how they will hold up? I will have to put a few more miles on to tell. It appears they should hold up well and if so that would make these a huge bargain!

Comments: Best Pegasus since the early days of the model. I hate clunky shoes and these provide a great combination of cushioning and support. I'm a 150 lb neutral-to-mild-pronating runner who's been trying to get a shoe dialed in for the last year. After trying several models of Asics, Adidas, Mizuno, and Brooks, these shoes are a welcome relief and a relative bargain. A simple, supportive upper combined with a bombproof old-school waffle makes them great for on and off road. I like them way better than the Brooks Cascadia on the trails, better heel-toe and a faster feel without compromising stability. If they hold up, I'll buy several pairs. I haven't run in the Pegs since the super soft model a few years ago, but these are a much firmer, better all around shoe than those and are much lighter than the last couple years' models, with fewer blister-causing overlays, which I hate. Nice update, Nike. It is very rare in this business.
