Customer feedback

Comments: I would actually order true size not 1/2 size larger as suggested. I read several reviews after ordering the shoes and was nervous. One review stated that "kissaki" meant the tip of a samurai sword which was appropriate since that is what it felt like was cutting your toes off while wearing the shoes. On my first 3 mile run with the shoes, sure enough about 2 miles in,my right foot felt like my toes were being sliced but the left was fine. I noticed that the laces were tighter on the right and made the adjustments. That was all that was needed to correct the issue and now I really like them. They are as advertised.  My previous favorite is the Asics Gel Nimbus 13.

Comments: I would order true to size for the Kissaki.  The forefoot is very wide.  The shoes are as advertised, a good lightweight trainer with a low heel drop ("looks" lower than 9mm).  Average cushioning in both heel and forefoot.  Build quality is about average.
