Comments: I have put approximately 70 miles on this shoe thus far and I love it. The shoe is very light, which helps with a quick turnover. Most of my runs have been in the 7 to 8 mile range with no problems. I raced a half marathon and around mile 10 or so I thought I may need more cushioning for marathon training, but I never had a problem on that run with the shoe. I must add that they are very sharp looking and feel good sockless.

Comments: The midsole is fantastic. Sadly, the upper tore in several places after 150 miles. That's not durable enough, even for a lightweight trainer.

Comments: This shoe has a great fit and ride. I am a supinator who finds so called "neutral" shoes inadequate given the typical lateral softness which exacerbates my gait problems. I've been ranting for some time about the design of neutral category shoes that appeal to over-pronators by adding a touch of medial support via the soft "crash pads" and other poor design features. The Streak is laterally supportive with performance cushioning (not too soft, but enough to provide shock absorption for the long haul). Great fit with a snug heel and midfoot and a generous forefoot. Sizing is consistent with most other manufacturers (no need to size up or down). Now the miles will have to tell. My only other concern is the unknown of Pearl Izumi's commitment to model consistency over time, and will the company continue to make shoes? Do they sell many?
