Comments: The Scott T2 Kinabalu 2.0 shoe was a big disappointment. I ordered my initial pair in April 2014. I was pleased with the ride, and with an upcoming 100 miler at the end of June, ordered another pair at the end of May, 2014. They quickly fell apart with the upper ripping away from the sole. Even the newer pair with less than 50 miles has a small hole that will develop into a large tear on both sides.I have never had the experience of a trail shoe falling apart so soon and to such a degree. Mine usually last for up to a year, even with high mileage (2500 or more a year). At least four other running friends have reported the same experience. Fortunately, Running Warehouse is provided excellent customer service and I am able to return the shoes and try something else. A friend dealing directly with a Scott's rep is not having much luck. I sent that rep photos of my shoes. The plus of the shoe for me was the smooth, low profile ride. They also drained and dried well and the traction was good. But none of that matters if you can't even get 50 miles out of them, especially for the steep $130 price!
