Comments: I have run in the Saucony Peregrine since they first came out. Awesome shoe! In a trail race a couple of years back in NorCal, there were multiple layers of leaves (while doing a 700 foot+ incline in the first mile), loose scrabble, sand, dry rocks, wet rocks, moss covered rocks, and roots. Everything you could imagine. And while no shoe is absolutely perfect in all conditions, the Peregrine rose to the challenge and handled them all with ease. Ask anyone that runs in these this shoe, and they will tell you that the outsole is what puts this shoe above many others. Also, if crossing any rivers, shoe really dries out fast!

Comments: I bought these and was really excited to try them. They came well recommended to me from a local running store associate. So I went with them. The initial run I did with them wasn't terrible. I still wasnt overly impressed. These replaced Mizuno wave accend 5s. SO these were lighter and less supportive. The second run I did with the perenrines really scared me. I was doing a timed 5k mud run. The first mile was scary. It felt like my ankles were rubber bands. I felt really unsure while running. It was probably me transitioning from the mizuno's but I will not be buying another pair of these. They just werent for me . The worst part of the whole thing is that I lost one of my shoes on that race course and could not find it. I was more upset about not being able to give them to someone who could use them, over the money lost by losing a shoe.
