Comments: Light and comfortable. I'm a big fan of Salomon products, but don't always find their shoes to be very comfortable for running. I bought these after sending a pair of the Mission XR cross trainers back. While you can't quite run on pavement with these very often as you will quickly wear out the tread, I am really looking forward to wearing these during some upcoming trail races. Some of these start on the pavement, but it will be worth it to have them once things start getting dirty. The toe area is tight, so I recommend a thin, moisture wicking type sock with these. I'm using Fastwick 2 inch high socks and they seem to work great, even with my Salomon gaiters that I also purchased.

Comments: My shoes just arrived this morning, I was so excited that I drove home during my lunch hour to pick them up! They fit great and feel super comfortable right out of the box (I am wearing them in the office this afternoon). I will run in them this weekend, but I can already tell these will be my trail racing shoes for certain. I was running in the La Sportiva Crosslites but needed a replacement, I tried on the La Sportiva Quantums but they are super narrow, so I opted to go with a Salomon product for technical trail running. I also have a pair of the Salomon Crossmax Neutrals and wear the same size in both the Crossmax and the Speedcross 3s. I typically purchase men's shoes because they are usually a bit wider than the womens. This was also my first time ordering from the runningwarehouse and will definitely order from them again. Great service, awesome shoe - thanks!

Comments: Before I bought this shoe I did a ton of research. I run about 95% of my training offroad, so i was looking for a sturdy shoe that could 1. handle 100 to 140 mile weeks, 2. provide solid protection from basic trail elements, and 3. still race Ultra's in. Overall the fit was true, so I didn't need to change sizes. I have noticed that the toe-box "feels" narrow, but after a few runs they felt fine. My arch is a "medium" so there were no problems there. When you're wearing them they fit like a glove...an extremely well built glove!! They've been in my hands for 5 days and I've put 95 miles on them and I'm glad to say that I'm extremely happy. In mud, hard-pack dirt, clay, rock gardens, roots, dirt roads, and pine straw covered trails they perform like no other! On pavement they feel "different", kind of soft but in a positive way. I've been very critical of these shoes and I've found that they do very well ripping down single track in any condition. And since Salomon lowered the shoe, you won't have that "diconnected" feeling you get with other trail shoes. I've read several reviews stating that individuals put 500 to 600 miles on them, so it should be interesting in a few weeks. I'm not a minimalist kind of guy, I run in shoes that work. Prior to the Salomon SC3 I ran in the Adidas Mana. They're not a trail shoe, but who cares! Thanks Salomon for putting out another great product!!

Comments: Super great SHOE! I have tried several other shoes and decided Eastern Single track is hard on shoes. The tread pattern is superb in thick and sticky mud, the tread pattern seems to clean and shed mud leaving your legs fresh since you can run a little easier. The lacing system is nice too. I do not feel any awkward or uncomfortable pressure points. All in all a great fit and as long as the shoes are similar, it will be my 1 and only. :)
