Comments: I just bought a second pair of these shoes. These have an amazing feel. I love my NB 890's but these are lighter and so much more comfy. I'm heavy for a female runner at 180 lbs so I need some cusion, but not so much that the sole is sqishy. Shoes with too much cushion tend to hurt my feet. NB fresh foam was too cushioned for me. I have high arches. These are perfect. I use my 890's to train daily and use these for my long runs. The tops are practically all mesh so your feet don't get hot. I've never gotten a blister from my New Balance either.

Comments: Love this shoe -- and the colorway is actually much better in person (looks blah on line to me). I've run in 3 pairs on the first version and this is my first pair of the second. If you liked the first, you'll like this one. Very similar, though the upper of this version is more slipper-like. The version 2 seemed slightly smaller than the first (just a tad), but if you continue to size up a 1/2 size from your normal running shoe, as I have with all 1400s, then you should be fine. (7.5 normal shoes; 8.5 running shoes; 9 in NB 1400). Also, very comfortable out of the box--8 mile tempo run out of the box with 0 issues.

Comments: This style actually is a smaller fit than other ones. I usually fit in size 6.5 in all NB shoes. However, this time, 6.5 seems a bit small to me. I went home and measure the new shoes I bought to 2 other pairs of NB I have at home. They are actually smaller, even though all 3 pairs are size 6.5
