Comments: Right, so for this shoe's inaugural run, I went out on a four and a half mile run @ 6:30 pace, covering grass, gravel, and cement, and it felt very responsive over everything. I didn't get the sensation that I was sinking into the shoe and turn over didn't feel too sluggish. As a forefoot striker, and seeing comments elsewhere, I was a bit worried that the heel would get in the way, but it did not. However, after the run, I couldn't wait to get the shoes off. I've never really experienced hot spots this bad before. I felt the center of my foot, and it felt well over 100 degrees. The interior of the shoe is very finely assembled, so I didn't have blisters, but there is practically no breathability.
