Comments: I have run in these, and these must not be the Asics for me. They are stiff, uncomfortable and I can hear my feet slap as I run, too. I am disappointed with these 2170's.

Comments:  I have run in the Asics 2000 series for 3 years. I have road and trail shoes and I have always loved them. I took the 2170's out for a 4.5 mile run this morning. They felt stiff and flat and I could hear my feet slapping the pavement as I ran. By mile 3 my feet actually hurt. I don't know what the difference is but I will be returning them.

Comments: I bought these earlier this winter, I love them! I use these on long run days and I feel like I could go forever!  I usually get some fatigue along my shins but these shoes give me enough support and motion control so that my legs feel good.  I'm sticking with 2170s!
