Comments: I'm on my 2nd pair of the Asics Gel Blur33 2.0's. I put over 300 miles on my first pair (including runs of over 20 miles for marathon training). I've had a very good experience with this shoe. I like the stack height and the 10mm heel to forefoot drop. It's a nice change from traditional 12mm drop running shoes- and the more minimal drops of 8mm and less. This is a very comfortable up-tempo shoe with the right amount of cushioning for longer training runs. The upper feels great, and the toe box is just right for me. This shoe has a different feel from my other neutral running shoes. I chalk that up to the pseudo-minimalistic design of the Asics 33 series. My two pairs have been well-built and are not showing much wear after significant mileage. I am 6'2, 185 pounds. I have a neutral foot strike and run 45-60 miles per week.

Comments: Not well made at all. Have only 150mi on them and the fabric near the toe is separating from the toe box.

Comments: I bought this shoe at the advise of RW staff. I fractured my cuboid early in the season & I used this shoe to work on my recovery. The cushioning is rather plush & the design of the 'roll' heel to toe is rather well established. A nice amount of padding greets the heel strike. The mid stance is a little on the vague side as the shoe is on the wider side & heel cup is over padded & you will note the need to re-tie / tighten up after about a mile is so. Late stance has a positive kick to it is easy to propel from toe off w speed.
After about 1 hour, I too find the wt getting heavy. If you train in the 45' range or want a cross trainer w a runner slant this is perfect. While he soles wear some early, I have not noted any loss of traction, even on wet trail rocks.
Other than the blump wt, this is a near perfect trainer. The cushioning is near bottomless. I prop have 400 miles on them w an easy 200 left before they become a casual shoe.

Comments: This is a very comfortable everyday trainer. I was pleasantly surprised with the cushioning they provide a heavier runner(250+lbs). The shoe give lots of feedback with mid and forefoot striking, I like to pivot and turn on a dime sometimes. I've worn them for sprints, tempo, and moderate distance runs. At about 12 miles, when my form isn't as tight as it should be, the shoes aren't as much fun. I'm hoping to squeeze about 5-600 miles out of them, but I'm thinking 350-400 will be really pushing their limit. Great shoe!
