Comments: I've been wearing Kayano's for some time and loved them all but why did Asics decide to make this version just a tad thinner? Now I can't wear them and will be moving to the Saucony Hurricane.

Comments: This shoe has been designated my "long run" partner for sessions lasting more than 60 minutes. So far I've logged about 25 miles on this shoe, one 11-mile and another 14-mile run. Overall, I'm impressed with the Kayano 21 and think it provides good support when needed and quite comfortable. The first run I found that my heel was sliding a bit during the run, which may be due to a loose tie. The second time around I threaded the top most eyelets of the shoes and it kept my heel secure. I'm impressed with the tread wear so far. On my DS Trainer 20, after about 30 miles I can already notice a bit of wear (nothing to be disappointed about, just noticeable), but not so with the Kayano 21. Size 10.5 weighed in at 12.3 ounces.

Comments: Finally got this, and I love it. I'm usually running in a much lighter shoe (Nike LunarGlide 6), but took this for 4mi while I was helping someone train and I didn't notice the weight nearly as much as I thought I would. Great support for my flat feet (still haven't put my Aetrex L420 in them, though) and cushion for my bad knees (thanks, genetics). Also, the all black par looks like a shoe Batman would wear, so bonus.

Comments: Got these to rotate with my Hurricane 16's. On my first run I found that the heel was very soft and overall the feel of the shoe was really mushy. Guess I'm not used to such a super soft shoe. Returned for another pair of Hurricane 16's-great Running W/H exchange policy! The Hurricanes have a firmer heel, but still have great forefoot foot cushioning. Building my long runs up to 13-14 miles as I run half marathons. I am a moderate pronator with flat arches and weigh 160 lbs.

Comments: Just tried these today for a run and wow; for me the best kayano since the 10. The shoe is better cushioned than the nimbus and it hugs the foot in a way that it hasn't in years. The posting isn't noticeable so it feels like a stable neutral shoe. Asics hit a grand slam and I say this being unhappy with many of the shoes during the last several years.
