Comments: Good, comfortable zero drop shoe. Works for a myriad of activities. It makes a great running, gym, or casual shoe. It is too bad that Altra discontinued this and the Samson (men's version) Beware, these run WAY SHORT. I suggest you go a full size up.

Comments: I've been transitioning down to more minimal footwear for a couple of years now (started with the Kinvara, then Newtons (can't say I loved those), then Merrell Dash Gloves). I've been in the Dash Gloves for awhile now, at this point. I decided to give the Altra Delilah a try as I like to have more than one shoe in my rotation and like the idea of being able to remove the insole when desired. These shoes, so far, are great (note: I have only gone on a very short run in them). With the insoles, I'd say these have a similar ground feel to the Dash Gloves. They are definitely wider at the forefoot, but the heel is genius - no slipping, but not tight or constrictive at all. First pair of shoes I have worn in who knows how long where my heel hasn't slipped in the shoe. Running Warehouse is spot-on with the sizing recommendation - I typically wear a US 8.0 in running shoes, the US 8.5 fits perfectly (and is exactly the same length as the Dash Glove in US 7.5).
