Comments: A very good cross fitness type shoe. My favorite actually. Solid heel stability and comfort while running makes this shoe a great pick for nearly all WOD's. I enjoy the less than huge toe box, there is enough flex in the fabric that a duck like toe box is not necessary. They are very light, and very cool compared to any other brand I have worn. The trade with minimal construction is that you should expect them to wear under very heavy bar loads. I find the 195's to be more performance oriented than the other brands marketing to cross training workouts.
Do avoid rope climbs in them, but other than that a near perfect cross fitness shoe.

Comments: This is a good minimalist shoe for varied surfaces and conditions. If I am going for a race or run that includes both road and trail, I pack this shoe. I have used it on long, 20+ milers and on short track workouts. It's a workhorse. You can expect the sticky rubber on the outsole to wear down about as quickly as the Vibram outsoles on the NB Trail Minimus or the Merrell Trail Glove. Take care not to lace too tightly--I did and ended up with some stubborn metatarsal pain. Pretty sure that was user error, not a shoe flaw. I normally go 0-drop, but these are great for those days when you need a little more oomf to your shoe.
