Comments: Hope I do not jinx anything but these are rapidly becoming my favorite shoe. I was worried at first feeling something minor in heel/arch area (maybe wave plate?) and cutting it close around the little toe area but simple fact is they are a joy to run in! I might notice it when walking in them but not at all when running. In fact I have stocked up on 6 pairs so that pretty much sums it all up! Only problem is I run trails 95% of the time...these are not made for that but I have been doing it, just keeping them to easier trail's, hard pack dirt etc and slowing down on the more technical spots and area with pointy things (You will get poked by gravel and rocks etc but the run is so smooth and happy its worth it). I have not done anything longer than 12 miles in them yet. I did take them out on cement and asphalt once and they really shined...just the right amount of cushion, fast, comfy and not one single ache or pain...again just a joy to run in, the kinda shoe you always end up running longer and faster than you had planned. Pretty much every other shoe company I have been going up to 10.5 but these are still a 10 for me, btw great upper, much better than Sayonara . Weird thing I have been on a epic shoe buying binge lately and most are bugging my little toes. Curious, I set the Hitogamis next to Kinvara to compare visually and the Kinvaras are obviously a taller and wider shoe yet they kill my little toes. No problem what so ever with that in the Hitogami

Comments: I am 6'2", 180 lbs, 3rd year running, 18:38 5K and 39:45 10k PR. I tried on about 15 pairs of lower profile shoes over the winter and spring in order to replace the Brooks Launch I used on the track and in 10K or less races. I like everything about this shoe. I am size 12.5 in most shoes except my adidas energy boost long distance trainers - wear 13. The Hitogami fit perfect in 12.5 and wear thin - medium sock. Great toe box space, athletic and snug heel cup. Laces are best of any shoe. Very light upper. I like that the wave plate only extends through half of the shoe - found the Wave Prophecy and Sayanora unwearable due to full plate. I feel close to ground but with some cushion. Only have used on track intervals and 3mi or less easy runs will use on 5k at end of month. Good shoe for someone who does not want to go down to an ultra-light flat. Color is boring but they still look good.

Comments: Bought these in black and wore them all day at work in anticipation of my run later in the day. So comfortable and light! I normally run in the wave rider and prior thought I was a stability shoe person....guess not. This shoe is great, I've put over 20 miles on them and will wear them for the half marathon in June. If it helps I'm 6'2" 200 lbs and not the typical runner, But enjoy running in these dope sneakers a lot.

Comments: This is really a fantastic shoe. I have been using it for most of my runs(40-50mpw currently non marathon training). Feels good on easy runs, but definitely excels on tempo/faster pace runs. This may be my next Marathon Shoe. I would highly recommend this shoe if you are looking for a fast, light weight trainer or racer. The Hitogami's worked much better for me than the Sayonara's.
