Comments: Best shoe I think I have ever had!!!!! I liked these so much after one month I wanted to buy a second pair.....no luck with that, now they don't have my size anymore. Very sad!

Comments: I have owned the Merrell Road Glove for six months now and it is my Go To Shoe. I use them for speed work and short faster runs and some long tempo runs. I love the shoe! I also have the Trail Glove and (although a good shoe) I like the Road Glove much better. I run in minimal shoes and this shoe is by far the best!!

Comments: I switched to minimalist running about 18 months ago. I have flat feet, short legs, I overpronate, and I started running when I was 38. You name it, I've had it: side stitches, runner's knee, IT band, shin splints. I finally bailed on motion control shoes after a half marathon where I finished about 15 minutes off my goal. First, I went totally barefoot and really liked it. Then it got cold and research let me to Merrell. I have been extremely satisfied. I've run a half and a full in the Road Glove with no ails whatsoever although the bottom of my feet began to hurt after about 22 miles into the Philly Marathon. Yes, I still stretch pre-run, but I feel these shoes make you run the way people are supposed to run: forefoot strike. They may not be a panacea but they are worth a try. These shoes are durable and machine washable. They tend to get pointy after use and washing but that's no big deal.

Comments: In my experience, the Road Glove is actually a better trail (and road) shoe than the Trail Glove (which I like too, just not as much). While the traction isn't quite as good off-road and the fit is a bit more slack, it's way more protective. The TG used to wreck my feet on pointy rocks, and the RG has enough cushion and a bigger heel to take away that problem. I don't miss the TG's rock plate at all. Plus, the RG is a little lighter.

Comments: I have never run in this shoe but I wear them on my everyday excursions. This is the best pair of shoes I own.

Comments: I've been running in the Trail Glove for some time now, but I do most of my runs on asphalt. Merrell took all that I love about the TG, and made a perfect zero-drop road runner! This is easily my favorite road shoe!
