Comments: After a bout with Achille's tendonitis resulting from using lighter-weight spikes, I decided to try these because of the greater heel lift and cushion. I ordered them a half size larger, and they fit like a glove. The feel is like a good pair of trainers, and I was able to do a ladder workout on the track today with no problems. These are the most comfortable spikes that I have ever worn, and recommend them for anyone transitioning from running in trainers to spikes. I found that no break in period was needed for a comfortable fit.

Comments: I tried running with these on the track and bought them since they were cheap. During the 1500m, they hurt my legs so much that I did 30 seconds worse than my last time. These shoes are not for me and I don't recommend them. I think the heel gives me a problem.

Comments: Since this shoe is very narrow, I suggest that a larger size be purchased [in my case 1.5 larger than normal was necessary]; other than that caveat would recommend it [especially on the basis of its discounted price].

Comments: Far too heavy for a 5k, grips very well though, but i'll be going back to the kilkenny xc4.
